The Link Charitable Trust

The Link Charitable Trust (LCT) was incorporated in July 2015 and gained charitable status in March 2016. Our charitable objective is the promotion of good health for public benefit in particular but not exclusively by providing support for children and young people suffering from emotional wellbeing and mental health issues. The aim of The Link Charitable Trust (LCT) is to provide provision to local families in need and those living with the effects of poverty; residing in Redcar and Cleveland.

The Link Charitable Trust is not a government funded body and we are constantly raising funds to keep our core services going. We rely on people like you to donate to us so that we can keep supporting the families that we already work with and to continue to make a difference to other families.

Our Projects/ Services

The Link Charitable Trust provides a range of services for people of all ages, including young adults, children, care leavers, and families. These services include one to one support and group activities.

I have found these counseling sessions invaluable they(Simon) has helped me to think things through in a different way. I have re-evaluated the situations that I had previously considered hopeless and now feel loads more positive. It has been so important to be able to talk about my problems and feel listened to.

If anyone who is struggling like I was could be helped, I think it is vital that they could access the service and feel supported when they need it most. We all have times where we struggle.

Different than any other help I have sought because I have felt the most listened to in this case and took more on board as a result of the relationship.

Good to talk face to face, good listener, lots of information given.

The course has been a lifesaver for me and I could not score it high enough.

Just want to say “Thankyou” from me & the boys for not giving up on us. I promise to work really hard in the New Year & I am 100 percent certain that between us you are the most perfect young lady that can help us. Many would of wiped their hands of me by now, but you’ve persisted. And that’s what I need – all I can do is say sorry for not handling things as good as I should. But I swear, your like a little present I’ve been given & like I said in 6 months I’m sure I will be in a far better place, with you by my side

Thank you to everyone at the link for the activities this half term for the children. My kids have had a wonderful time and made some gorgeous memories! We’ll keep an eye out for upcoming events as I’m sure they’d love to take part!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for taking the kids on the beach activity and the Danby day out over the Easter holidays. They absolutely loved their days with you all, and I think it did them the world of good to get out the house and off on an adventure without mum (me). I loved hearing about what they got up to today, they were full of information telling me about Danby and my daughter even made some friends. They cant wait to go on more days out again with you all so please let me know of any activities in the future as we would loved to be involved with the fantastic charity.

The group has a lovely atmosphere with friendly people and it’s a great place to meet up. I feel there are probably lots of people in the community who would benefit from attending.

Everything about the group is great, plenty to do, everyone’s friendly and interacts with all. My little one enjoys coming.
